.... Guess the stack does not slide down into the carb.?? but stays on
the upper lip of the carb.... If it does slide into the carb.. How does the o-ring stay?...
Ron, Are you talking about the 82? Mine has 2 screws that go through the intake block part of the carb. The screws go into the plastic back plate on the back of the engine. If you look at the block it has a round recessed area right where the air enters in. That's where the O-ring goes and the U shaped clip on the velocity stack has 4 holes in it and it slides over the block with the 0-ring underneath it. Then the screws go through the clip, through the block and back into the back plate. I have pictures I took last night but they are at home. I'll post them when I get home.
