That's amazing! Now how do they plan to turn that into a system that can transition to forward flight, and then back to hover again? It looks like the test bed has the engine mounted vertically, ala Eddie's Rig from a couple years ago. The Harrier has side nozzles that rotate to vector the thrust, and I don't see how they'll be able to duplicate that layout with their current approach.

Not throwing stones, just curious. If they can do it, more power to 'em. A scale turbine Harrier with VTOL capability will be an unmatched feat in the R/C world.
