RE: Sig Astro Hog "Engine recomendations
The 70 is enough to get it up and around but it won't bore any holes in the sky. For realistic sunday flying it's great but other than that I'd stick an OS 91 F-Stroke on it if I was to build another one.
I'm not really into tearing up the skys with this more realistic looking plane, so I guess I'm satisfied with the 70 as for now.
It is a fun plane to fly though. I really beleive a beginner could learn on it, it's that easy to takeoff, fly and land. Gentle as a kitten that looks great on the ground or in the air and quite aerobatic if you have the experience to make it do what you want.
One of the best flyers in our club flew mine and said he'd really like to have one of these. He flys his large P-51 full bore 5 feet off the ground as he does a nice slow roll! That's Awesome! He was pleased with the 70 I have on mine.
