Everything sounds good to me except the part about backing it off a half turn, adjust to peak and back off a few clicks. I have not had a YS63 for a few years but I think the theroy is the same. Mine would slack on the power if I richend it up to much and needle setting was sensitive as the difference between a dog and and a monster was only a few clicks. Hope this helps.
