RE: 60' C172 Avionics Problems
You're welcome. I just retired a few months ago as Editor of Private Pilot magazine for the past 9 years. Having an aircraft with good radios is so great. After the war I flew so many surplus military planes that had junk or most of the time no radios at all that I have come to appreciate good radios. I was a Cessna and Piper dealer for 10 years and owned all new airplanes with state of the art radios and then for the last 10 years I have been testing new airplanes. I would have a very hard time going back to planes with older radios. Youngest son Robert is Senior Editor of Flying Magazine and he is also the avionics editor. Have fun with your 172, one of best airplanes and safest every built. Norm
