Their are a lot of guys in NC that fly helis. I don't know how close they are to you but I'm sure they would be willing to help, even if you have to drive an hour or two (it would be well worth it).

my question is i'm wanting to flip my flight switch and don't know what to expect when I do.
Your head speed should go up and you should have a lot more negative pitch if your heli is setup right. If your scared to flick the switch in the air, do it on the ground. Bring your throttle up so the heli just starts to get light on the skids, they flick the switch (just remember not to drop the throttle back down unless you flick the switch back).
