Well in the pack of bought from my lhs, it had the ring gear, and the pinion gear in it, but when i looked at the old pinion gear, it looked the same as the new one, where as the old ring gear, looked really rounded and totally diff. So i thought theres no point replacing the pinion gear.

Also, before i came and looked here, i noticed that it wasnt spaced very well, so i moved one of the spacers thats already there for the bearings i think, around, to move the ring gear across a bit. so its shimmed a bit,which i thought was plenty, as its better than when it comes standard, and stardard it didnt slip ?!?

However i shall follow your advice, and replace the pinion gear, incase theres a slight diff, and i will also find some more spacers so its a tight fit.
