DX6 is a good parkflyer radio but it's lacking (feature wise) for helicopters as I understand it. It only has 3 point throttle and pitch curves which means all you can ever have for pitch setup is a linear curve. Good if you want hard 3D, not so good if you want scale flight or you're starting out and want to soften up the hover range. Of course, the DX6 is also pretty much glitch and interference proof, so that's a definite plus.
The XP6102 is a nice radio. I've got one here, and though i'm not using it, i'm impressed by it's feel and features. Comfortable to hold and it has a pretty nice heli program, so if that's one you were looking at, i'd personally suggest that.
