Default RE: Does anyone make adjustable trim tabs, that are controller adjusted?

I would rather have my drive trimable remotely then the trim tabs. To me it looks like RC boats are not like the larger boats when it comes to trim tabs. In a large boat it can affect your planing greatly depending on conditions, this is mostly on cruisers and pleasure boats. for our RC boats, we run so far out of the water it seems to be a waste to me. Unless you have a very large scale boat that is heavy I don't see them helping all that much by being remote controlled. And on a large scale boat I see it only being able to help getting the boat on plane.

Now being able to adjust the trim would be nice if you like to run in varying conditions and speeds. I thought about it for my stern drive, but not really worth the investment right now. At $100 for the bracket and then the cost of the required high TQ sail winch servo, and the hassle of install, I decided against it for now. Maybe it will be a future mod down the road.

On a stinger drive, it would be fairly simple to make adjustable with a servo, and those running the higher end TX's they have mixing functions you could use to incorporate it into your driving style
