I used all kinds of paints on mine. Some I won't ever use again, but anything that sticks, is dull when it should be dull, and shiny when it should be shiny works for me. Another is handling and cleaning ability. I don't want to have to wear rubber gloves to play with my tank. I would rather it be bright pink with purple dots and be able to drool all over it, if need be!

I bet you could leave your tank outside in a hail storm Brock (not that you would!), and the paint would still be in good shape.
