Terrific idea. I don't have a camera that takes video, so I'll have to beg/borrow one. That's much more interesting than GPS. Now that you mentioned it, I started looking around for video cameras for RC planes and found some interesting products here:

These people do security cameras. One is so small that 5 of them can fit on the head of a quarter. They have transmitters that are equally as small, and combination units (like the one in the link above). You could easily put together a camera system that weighs less than 1 ounce with 1000’ to 2500’ range.
I would suggest ordering a catalog. They have dozens of combinations available and the catalog is MUCH easier to browse through than the web site. Plus it has the prices. The web site is pretty much “Call for price”.
