Default Anyone looking into getting into r/c drift read this!!!!!

Ok here is what you need to drift. This is for anyone. A 4wd chassis. People are gonna say 2wd which is possible but it is very difficult. Hard compound tires made by HPI, YOKOMO, and TAMIYA. People also use PVC or ABS which is a type of pipe that you can find at your local hardware store. You are gonna need 2 inch. That's the basics. Set up wise you are gonna want a hard spring rate in the rear and a soft one up front. In other words hard springs in the rear and soft in the front. Some people like to run locked rear diffs. In my experience it's not needed. There are various ways to do this. For a couple examples I've heard is super glue, silly putty, or fuel tubing. There are write ups just search for them. Some people also lock up the front. But this will hurt your turning greatly. Ok lets see motor wise you want I would say anything between a 27-15 turn. Another thing is upgrade to ball bearings if your car didn't already come with them. I'm also gonna start a new post and so maybe people will see it and not have to ask and wait for responses. Anyone feel free to add to the list. Maybe a mod could make this sticky?
