Default RE: Tam smoke system installation

Here's a photo of my pump installation. Sorry about the poor quality of the photo, but I'm sure you will get the idea.

The spruce cross beam is sitting on top of the main fuel tanks, just behind the vents, and is glued to the fuselage.
The plywood tray extends aft, and also rests on top of the tanks. The entire installation must be removed if the main tanks need to come out. Now is the time to remove the soft brass fuel tubes inside the main tanks and replace them with stainless steel tubing, if you make this type of installation.

My smoke tank is 32 oz., but I'm sure that a larger tank would fit. I just happened to have the tank available when I installed the system.

The battery supplied with the system is mounted to the bottom of the tray with tie wraps.
A switch is required, or the battery will discharge if left connected.

In this location, there is no interference with the KingCat cockpit and pilot installation.
