RE: In Memorandum
Hello; I, too suffered the great loss of my faithful Speedy Bee after 3 years of loyal service. My Bee died in a much more ignominious way, I was wearing my hiking boots and straddling her as I ran the engine up, while I was waiting for someone else to land. They landed and when I stepped over to release her, one of the shoelace posts hooked on the antenna wire. she lifted up in the air and I lost balance when I put my foot down and stepped right on the middle of the wing, sob, and crushed it's little heart.
I built a new fuselage right away, but I can't help but feel that I deserve a little pain and suffering for having destroyed such a spirited bird in such a careless and stupid way.
