Team Hammer.
TURN &BURN.
the lipo used here is called lilo from graupner
i am suprised about what it can take , i did again a few starts and i had to charge no more then 500 mah everytime
the battery is 2100 mah.
yes i know didi for a few years now , from all the people from the german jet jocks he is one of the nicest , and knowledgeble
and down to earth type of guy.
nice family and always ready for a talk or laugh.
and yes he can get you parts quicker then JC ;-).
again the turbine is a work of art and sets a new standard to quality .
i like the special paint job (elox) they did on the casing.
i will make a few flights today and shoot some video.
to be honnest i was sceptic at first , but all in all i cant wait to give it a try.
downsides: Warranty
i am a graupner dealer , however i can imagine that when this engine is send for inspection to graupner
it will be send to hammer gmbh for repair and warranty i think.
this will take a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg gggggggggg time.
forst to graupner where it will sit for a week then send to the hammer plant for repair.
and i always try to help out my customers to get them flying again in less then a few days.
i will try to see if i get permisson to do small repairs , bearings , etc etc
and the big warranty issue to graupner.
later
Sandor
