Though it is disconcerting to have someone flying over your head, you do not have to be the bad guy. The AMA Safety Code speaks of a line, on the near side of which, no airplanes are to be in the air. Unfortunately the Code is somewhat vague about the exact location of that line. Most clubs use the near edge of the runway. Just let the offender know that the Safety Code requires flight not be on your side of the line. First learn how your club defines the Line.

Some clubs have such a rule, some don't. Personally, I think everyone should be checked out.
