Default RE: There is more to flying than keeping the plane in the air

The safety and well being of every person at the field is numero-uno, imho. If another person is buzzing the pits with low flybys, which is considered an unsafe practice at our club, and it distracts me to a point that I am concerned, then I can no longer fly safely either, and I immediately land. I guarantee that I will inquire as to why that person is flying in an unsafe manner. A second consideration is the field itself. Many fields are situated in close proximately to highways and roads, as ours is. My clubs field just happens to also be close (about 1/4 mile) to a small (civilian) airport. About 1/2 mile away is a National Air-guard Base. Cause an accident with a car on one of those roads or an airplane overhead and you can kiss your field goodbye. The new pilots must learn that beginning with day one.
