I believe you're talking about the AA. Not sure why it's so popular
in some places more than others. At my local Target the same 3 AA's
(along with the F16) have been sitting on the shelf for 3 weeks.
Might be because they're waiting for the new AA's and the jet.
Who knows.
As for dog fighting. The plane can take some abuse and still hold up.
But anytime you do something like this, there's bound to be a plane
that gets messed up. Brake a prop and then what? Haven't seen
anyone who sells just props.
I believe the plane would fly better with the motors mounted on the
leading edge but I think the manufacturers mounted them in back
to keep the props from breaking in a crash. Hence less returns.
Dog fighting might change all that.
