i'm going to convert my aero ace to a 1 motor aero ace. it will be in the front, and maybe 3 channel. but thats inthe future cause right i'm working on other stuff.
Buy an EZ Charger and rob the motor from that. That way you won't wear out
the motor and be left with a useless AA. I think the original AA motors are a
bit under powered for a 3 channel anyway. If you're going to use a servo you
will be adding more weight.
The AA weighs about 20 grams. The RX and motors weigh 10 grams so you
only have about 10 - 15 grams to play with. One AA motor would have a tough
time pulling 25 grams.
