re Using a fluro power supply transformer for the coil.

On the CDI web rewinding is mentioned-
" Unfortunately the transformer cannot be used without rewinding the coils "

Is this coil totally stripped of wire and rewound as per the torroidal?

So is the fluro supply merely supplying a E-Core?
