Default RE: fixing the nose of a hobbico skyfly

You can buy a new fusalage from Tower Hobbies. I pulled a dent out of mine using a sharp pick. It seems hard to remove that foam pice from the nose.

To get mine to fly well I increased the angles of the control surfaces by running the pull lines through lower holes in the control horns. As it comes out of the box it is hard to control because they don't move much and are small anyway.

I got my moneys worth out of mine and it helped me be able to fly a .40 trainer.

Also it flys alot better without the landing gear on it. I hand launch mine and land it without the gear.

expoxy and glass cloth are good for repairs on it.
