RE: Scale Electric

Jim Ryan makes some nice little Speed 400 warbirds. They are easy to build, look great and fly great. I've been flying one of his Bearcats on a Mega DD brushless/3s lipo for about a year now, and it is one of my favorite planes.
The kits are a work of art, very well designed and executed. The wings on most of them are foam core, sheeted with 1/32 balsa. All the rest of the parts are laser cut and they are completely sheeted. Jim is very good about support.
Every time another guy at the field see it, their first reaction is usually along the lines of "nice toy"...... Then after seeing it fly, it's "where can I get one"!
Warbirdkits makes some nice, speed 400 laser cut kits of some more esoteric planes. I have one of their Mig 3s and a discontinued T34.
