Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

ORIGINAL: Nitro Napalm

I have seen 2100 MAH batterys - recharable AA's in a pack of 4 with charger, someone told me that these are not suitable and give less power [&:] but compared to the hump pack which is only 1200mah, i dont understand? Would it not be wise to get the single batterys instead? they have a lot of power and come in the 4 set. Also i will purcahse 8 single 1300mah's for my controller. What do you guys think? i would really like to know quick please..

The MHA only has to do with how long the battery holds a charge not voltage that is what you want! With AA rechargeable batteries you only get up to about 4.8 volts if that. With a 5-cell hump back you have 6 volts. Go look at the specifications on a servo and you will see they have voltages one for 4.8 volts and one for 6 volts and you will see the specifications for 6 volts has more torque and faster speed. All so with a well charged hump back you normally wine up with more like 6.5 to 7 volts
