Did you have to tune the length? I could see where you could lose a bit of HP if it's just the right (or should I say wrong) length. Also the opposite might be true (adding HP if it is tuned) with the back-pressure or lack thereof. Heck, it could have little to no effect, I guess. I bet it would save a bit of wipe-down if you could divert the oils down and away well enough. My Alpha was a real mess because of the muffler outlet angle, wish I'd had something like that on it.
