Default RE: WIid Hare MX2 Prototype

Okie dokie..I took the MX2 out and flew it yesterday. I put 2 flights on it with the new adjustments. The adjustments were I put about 1 degree of down thrust in it, a tiny bit of up in the ailerons and removed some tail weight(about 2 ounces). It helped a lot. I still have to put some down elevator in it when it is inverted but not as much. At full power and straight and level i pull the power to idel and the nose still drops. When I add full power the nose climbs so I still need to add a little more down thrust. I honestly think when I do that it will be right on. By looking at the thrust now it looks like there is zero in it. I think my stand offs may be a little off or somethng. So what Im going to do is make some new ones and have the top ones a little longer to give the plane about 3 degrees of down. Other than that this plane is amazing. It is very light weight feeling in the air. I wish I had some scales to weight it but I wont until this weekend. The ZDZ 80 is awesome on this plane. Its no where near under powered. It hovers at half throttle perfect. And thats with a Bambula 26x10 prop on it. I really need a new prop. That Bambula just aint cutting it...I tried some flat spins and its really flat and slow..I did a blender and that went well also. Now this is the honest truth. I put it in a knife edge and flew it across the field by holding the transmitter in my left hand with my thumb on the left stick to show a buddy and it flew straight across. It didnt pull to the canopy or the gear and no ailerons required. I thought that was pretty neat.
This weekend at our club field is our Big bird. Im gonna fly it and get some video and post ASAP. This plane is a true winner I think for Tom at WIld Hare...Good job Tom and thanks for a geat airplane....
