Planebender and extranaut, sorry you have experienced some bad wood. It happens to all kit manufacturers but that does not excuse it. I did not see where you called Morris stating this problem and asking for help. If you did not do that, then they cannot help and it is my hope and belief that they would have helped. If you did call/ask for assistance what did they do? I am curious. I designed it but have no control over wood quality or other items they ship to the end user.
