i use the 10X heli version for all my planks because they are out numbered 3 to 7 with heli's and it Does allow transfer of models between it and another 10X (use code 86 Data Transfer) but does Not allow trainer functions, i wouldn't think the aero version would disallow the transfer function and only the Aero version allows buddy boxing (pilot link).
