I just took delivery of a 9303 and so far it seems rather straightforward to set up and program, and very flexible. The 9303 is one of JR's latest, whereas the 10X has been around for 8-10 years.

What you need to ask yourself is "Do I need 10 channels or is 9 enough?", and are you willing to pay an extra $600 to get one more channel? With Matchboxes and Channel Expanders available if I need them, I think a 9 channel will be enough for me. I can put the extra $600 toward my next jet.

You should talk to someone that has owned each for a while before deciding.
