Default RE: Post ur shops here!!!!

Looks good Mr67, Love the pony! Dad bought one when they first came out, his was a 65 Mustang GT 2+2 the old fast-back. Allthough they actually came out in late 64 & some were actually registered as a 64 1/2.
It was dark blue with the 2 white stripes like your 67. At the time his latest Hobby craze was carving so he took out all the dash & door panels & replaced them with wood that he had carved the old Mustang logos on. I don't know if you are old enough to remember them or not but they were a small group of wild Mustangs on the run, they used them in the commercials back then too. It was a beautiful car & he turned it into a real runner as well!! The very same day he bought it he came home & put it in the garage & proceeded to take that brand new engine apart to put in all the good crank bearings & rods, replace the 289 heads with the 351 Cleveland heads & of course a big cam. I remember my Mom coming out to the garage that night & looking straight down thru the now empty barrels to my Dad on the creeper under the car & saying " The next time you buy a new car why don't you get one that isn't a kit!" She wasn't real happy about seeing right thru what used to be a brand new engine. LOL But Dad was a gear-head, what could she do?

I too have been banished to the garage for playing airplane. I used to do it right on the kitchen table but she kicked me out! I don't have a digital cam anymore but I have one half of the garage set up as my work area using the same table from Home Depot that acelemist22 has in his pic with shelves above that. It got crowded in a hurry, there are planes all over the place, including all over the virtually brand new Bass Boat. The poor thing probably doesn't have 50 hrs on it & now it has become a plane rack.[&:]
