Never, never NEVER stand in front of a prop when the engine is spinning up!!!!!!!!!!
Even if it's idling!!! I made the mistake ONCE(OK it WAS a bad habit) of reaching over an Idling saito 72 to pull off the glow driver... I reached at 12 inches of prop clearance... to bad I was running an APC 13x4W[
] I have a couple of nice scars now... I was really lucky considering I missed the main artery in my arm by.. Oh bout 1/16 of an inch... I was 25 miles from the nearest hospital at the time... that would have been a FUN drive
Over the years I've seen some bad things happen to people playing with these "toy planes"... you either respect them or pay the price.
