Yes the glow plug is a spark plug on a glow engine. For the dirt and dust i would remove the motor and take it apart thoroughly with WD40. Lean means that the motor is getting ore air than fule. Rich means that there is more fule that air getting in ( This is better than running lean). Do you have a temp gun?
