I believe he published two different plans. I built the one that was in Model Airplane News in the 70s. It flew extremely well, but had a large wing with ailerons. Control was aileron, rudder, elevator and throttle. Like most winged autogyros that were not direct control to the head, it could fly at a lower speed than that at which control could be maintained, so you could lose control if you weren't careful. I eventually took the wing off and flew it with direct control to the rotor in roll, but had to move the pylon forward.
