I haven't had a chance to try anything but FMS and G2, and obviously there's no comparison between *them*. The biggest problem with realism in G2 for me is that it's like flying with blinders on, since you're looking through the limited area screen (although I suppose if you had a 60" screen at 4096x2048 resolution this wouldn't be a problem ). G2 also has some reality problems with ground handling and elsewhere, but for the most part it's so close to real that it doesn't matter for the purpose of learning to fly. Where it falls down some times is in accurate portrayal of a specific powerplant/plane combination.
