Default RE: TOJEIRO 90 versus the Venus 2

Cannot speak for the 90. But the 140 wing and stab tubes fit pretty loose. seems like the fiberglass sockets are std. size and the tubes are metric. That was why i replaced them with the carbon tubes. The fit was perfect on the carbon tubes. Replacing the glass gear with carbon just to save about two ounces. The control horns seem pretty nice and solid as supplied. in fact i used them for the rudder linkage. I used 6-32 bolts for the aileron and elevator halves. Easier for me to drill one accurate hole instead of having to line up three with the supplied horns. As far as the wood it is lazer cut and seems fairly accurate. i had to work on the stab locating pins in order to line up 90 degrees to the rudder. The wheel pants and tires are small as supplied. if you fly off pavement you will be fine with them. I went with the bolly pants so i can run 3 inch Dave Brown lite flite wheels. The covering is a nice scheme. so i am hoping it will show up nice in the air. will add a huge checkerboard to the bottom of the wing. to help with orentation in the air.

Like i said earlier i have not taken the Venus out of the box yet. Just trying to get the Tojeiro together in time for the rest of the contest season
