I'm still relatively new ta this too, but I do think there is still fun to be had with a Trainer. It's a great beater/warm-up plane, & I still keep one ready to fly at all times. I would like to try the float plane thing one of these days with it. It's really nice to have when the wind gets up over 25mph & while I know I can still fly in it, I'd rather not risk a good plane in it anymore so out comes the ol'Trainer.
