Default RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Hi Tim

Is this the post you mean?

I'm flying the AA as per stock at the moment coz it's going so well, but I aim to get another one when Maplin have them back in stock at £15 (August?) so one will end up with all the mods and eventually be a homebuild, hopefully in time for next winter's indoor flying season.
- either that, or you are a mind reader! I've been thinking about those foam 'penny gliders' too - I think I know the ones you mean - are they like giant versions of the little WWII free-wheeling prop foam chuckies? If so, I bought some for a friends god-daughters (on sale at our R/C nationals...the gliders that is ;-) and they flew great but were reported as being 'floppy' - so my plan is, double the thickness using 2 models and/or stiffen with cf.

I've also got a plan for winter - get 2 or 4 of the smaller chuckies and make a Twin Mustang (P81?) like Nick's - (or a twin Spit, or Me 109, or FW 190.....) all foam, printed in full colour, all die cut for under £1 total!!

Others feel free to copy this idea, but post pics!!

Cheers

Ayrton
