Tony,

The unknown only accounts for 20% of the total score for the pilots.

Spt, Int, Unl; 400/2000 = .20 (no dropped knowns)
Adv; 600/3000 = .20 (1 dropped known)

That is the formula IMAC uses for the NATS.
