... the inboard would have the most power and taper the power down to the outer most motor.....
I don't know much about building airplanes, but it seems like the outer motors would create drag if they're not spinning as fast as the inboard motors. I would think you'd want the same thrust on all the motors. Seems like it would be more stable, too.
