So you must have been the first person to pick up a new extra that Tom was talking about. LOL.... I drove down this afternoon myself and picked up extra #2.
I got to meet and visit with Tom and his wife for a bit. Great down to earth people!
I just unpacked the plane and found it to be in terrific shape.I like the job the new builder did on the plane. I was also impressed with the way the cowl attaches.It hooks from the bottom and has to "hidden" screws from inside the fuse that holds on the cowl. You end up with a cowl with no visible mounting screws showing. Very clean look. Thanks for posting the weights Greg. I was wondering that also.
I'll be using a DA50 With JR 8611's all the way around. I'll be keeping a eye on your build Greg. All that I have had a chance to so far is to unpack. I'll get started on the build this weekend
