When you removed the firewall box, how did this effect the balance ? Also, were you then able to use the prop shaft extender that comes with the engine or did you still have to by the longer extension? I would think that by removing the firewall box this would make the plane terribly tail heavy. Did you add any weight and if so, where?

I have been reading much on this Pitts and had decided to not buy one, until I continued my research and now have one on order. One problem though, The Fuji 50 is no longer being made pending an upgraded model with no due date from. Now what to do? Any 2nd. choice suggestions on an engine? What about moving up one more step to the Fuji, I believe it's the 64?
