I called Tower Hobbies before Christmas and they told me they had them in stock, but the Fuji 50 SA is being updated with a new model. The rep said no more 50 SA's were coming in and that only current stock available. This was when I was still going back and forth on whether or not to get the Pitts and the Fuji 50. After doing more research I decided to get both the Pitts and the Fuji 50SA. I tried to by the plane and the engine through my local hobby store thinking they would have more info on the engine update. All they could do is confirm that an update was coming and that the engine had been discontinued, but for some reason he couldn't get the engine, even from Tower. I then went on line with Tower and ordered one this morning. Go figure. The Tower rep didn't have any release date or specs. on the update. After seeing all the positive information on RC Universe I felt the Fuji 50SA was probably the best overall fit for the Pitts so I decided to order one and not wait for an update that could be months away.
