Default RE: engine trouble

Hi!
The OS .30 wankel runs the same way as any other glow-engine.
As long as it gets fuel and air it runs! Just because it blows fuel and smoke out from the silencer says nothing of the carb setting. Pinching the fuel line isn't my cup of tea. Listen to the engine is better. That's how most people set their engines.
If it gets hot (very hot) it definitely runs too lean.
Running temp for all glow engines is hot! So hot that you might burn yourself if you touch the head of the engine when it runs at full throttle.
So...See to you have adequat fuel (20% castor oil, 5%-10% nitro and the rest methanol).
Glowplug : OS special wankel plug ( I think its called RE), No other plug!
Propellers: 10x6 APC.
Fueltank: 8oz
Tankpressue from silencer.
If you have followed these advise all you have to do is to start the engine at idle (Throttle drum open 1,5-2mm) with the high-speed needle open 2-3 turns from fully turned in ...and when the engine has started ...adjust the high-speed needle for best rpm......that simple!

Regards!
