LOL, I guess you have a point elenasgrumpy, I was thinking a flyable top speed, not critical mass. Plus, 50mph was a educated guess. I have never put a radar gun on one to clock and see how fast they really go.
In the 10 years that I've been in this hobby I've noticed one thing, us poor humans always seem to over estimate how fast our planes are flying. Everybody seems to do it. I know I've been guilty of it!! I had to learn the hard way. I had a plane that I was sure was flying 100-120 mph, I would have bet any amount of money it was flying that fast (or faster). When we finally got a radar gun on it the best I could ever get it up to was 94 mph!!! And that was coming out of a very steep dive!!!! Dang if that humble pie doesn't taste bad!!!
