Default RE: ENGINE??

Hence why I have become a fan of the Hyper .21 8 port. Its totally under rated and with 30% nitro and a great pipe and good clutch setup - it will run with $300 engines all day ... and keep you very very competitive - and when you grenade it .... $50 from ofna for a new piston sleeve conrod and g clips - and they will re-build it for you. New engine Cases with bearings are $15 on ebay ... cranks are another $15-20.

You have to know how to run a 3 needle carb and set deck height with shims - but - they haul serious arse and are often over looked by folks noit interested in making stuff tuned.

I used to be like aaanglet - in the sense I could afford ANY rc toy I wanted - not so much anymore - ive run em all or been with the guys that do .... I currently have running or at the ready ...

1 - Picco P3 .28 w/ JP3 pipe - Tazer PRT truggy
2 - Picco .27's - in my DUH titanium twin titan
1 - RB Mods Picco .27 with PCR 2027 EFRA 3 champer pipe
1 - RB Mods Picco .26
1 - Picco 01 Comp w/ picco P7R Evo Crank JP2 Pipe - Hyper 8
1 - Picco .26 w/ JP2 [sons Tazer ST truggy]
1 - Hyper .21 8 port w/ PCR2027 pipe - Hyper 7
1 - Hyper .21 8 Port JP2 pipe - spare :-)

+ endless blocks / bearings / cranks / carbs ready to swap ....

Point is I could chill out on the number of engines and have gotten 3 more spendy ones at any time - but Im running Hyper .21 8 ports in the bugz. Why - they are stupid cheap and just plain haul but! The P5x is a great engine - but i dont feel it has a dang thing over a well setup and tuned little throw away parts engine - hyper .21 8 port. Correct plug fuel shims tune pipe and clutch - it'll git r done.
