To start, I've been flying IMAC for a couple years now and am in Intermediate. I'm really careful setting airplanes up (ask my wife

) but I've never really hunkered down and tried to totally perfect an airplane's setup, but I think it's time I do so.
I've started thinking about some of the corrections that I make when I fly, and wonder if a little better setup would minimize them. One of the big ones is adding left rudder in an outside push (climb)... like an outside cuban, or the teardrop. I have my plane tracking straight on uplines, but I do have a small amount of right rudder trim in. I am wondering if adding right thrust and removing the trim will reduce the left rudder required in the push or increase the left rudder required?
I am assuming that I will always need some left rudder due to P-factor when inverted... just want to know how much is normal.
Thanks.
