Thanks for the reply Inverted. I know what you mean about a pebble being a serious road hazard. Luckily, the track nearby is Very nice and smooth. It's a permanent track with a fence and drivers stand and all, so it's not like part of the parking lot or anything like I have seen in the past. I think it would be plenty smooth for 1/18 cars. Any other thoughts on which direction to go 1/18 or 1/12. Are 1/12 scale cars fun and fast? I dont know much about them at all. Thanks.
