RE: Stop using CA glue for your tires
Ive never had problems gluig my tires with Hobby grade CA. The main reasons people get bad results is: Putting way to much glue, not prepping wheel and tire before, using cheep glue, simply dont know how to do it.
Here are the seps to gluing tire, if i leave anything out tell me.
1. Clean wheels and tires, if wheels are chrome sand the chrome out of the wheel bead
2. Insert tire foam into tire
3. Put tire on the wheel
4. I like to put a little glue inbetween the foam and the wheel so it doesnt bead, but everybody doesnt do this. Do this by pulling back oin the edge of the tire and squrting a little glue in between the foam and the wheel. Go around the tire, and you should do this about 4 times.
5.Pull back edge of tire just enough so you can squirt a little glue in the tire bead, dont fill the bead with glue, just a small amount. Go around the tire repeating this, you should do it about 6-8 times using small amount of glue each time
6. Some people like to put Rubber bands around the tire, I dont do this. i hold the tire tighly for about 30 secs. Then put it down and let it dry.
7. now repeat steps 5-6 on the other side of the tire.
8. YOU'VE JUST GLUED A TIRE, if you follow these directiosn correctly you shouldnt have any problems.
