Speaking of tires...
This is something I saw racers do as a Kid.... (I was the Kid not the racers ;P )
Anyway I dont know if its legal from a race point of view but...
Roll the foam tyres of your onroad car in silicone glue. The stuff used in bathrooms as a sealant.
Would be great for indoor racing especially.
