Man there is some false information about electrics in this thread, amazing the rc community still can't consider the two even. First off, 5 minute runtimes, lol, that might have been true in 1987 when you guys were running Tamiya Grasshoppers, but today we have 12,000 mah batteries which can give a good 1-3 hours depending on how you drive. I also find it funny you guys are still saying nitro gets better run time, thats a completely false statement. The average nitro's runtime is 15 minutes, where the average battery pack runtime is 25 minutes. Granted you can REFILL faster, but re-filling would mean your replinishing the source of power, which would be the equivelant of me hooking up a fresh battery. Neither extend runtime, as runtime is the time it takes for your source of power to operate continuously before a replinishment of energy is required.

hmmm, does "RC Nitro Stadium trucks" mean anything? the majority of the guys here run nitro for whatever reason.. for me, it's lack of bs involved with batteries, amperage, and all that electrical crap!!! I don't do it, don't desire to learn it and probably won't...

for the original guy...

hang in there dude... the best thing you can do with your stuff is find a closet, throw it in there for a week or two.. then pull out the engine manual, read it.. pull out the truck, set the engien back to factory settings and then retune... the time away will do you good, and get your frustration straight..

believe me, I did this a couple of weeks ago, when I pulled everything out, everything ran (which does piss me off) but I'm thinking the break cleared my head to see things easier..
