we just now got the new AA bipes here in minnesota, we're always behind everyone else! i like the new yellow and green colors, so i had to buy one ("had" being the key word there

). i'm pretty sure its still EPP foam, i checked it against the older bipes and they felt pretty much identicle. the motors have a differant sound too, or so it seems - i could just be used to the older ones i have. i havent gotten a chance to fly it yet, by the time i got home it was almost dark. tomarrow though i'm going to see if there's a differance between the old TX and the new TX, as the box says "new digital control." the motors are pointed out away from the tail, as has been mentioned, looks like they have been reading the forums. same weight though, 19.4 grams. speaking of weight, i lightened a bipe almost as much as i could, and got the weight down to 14.7 grams, it could be lower. i havent tried it out yet, but she should float nicely, doing the low speed mod would help too i'd imagine.
i think just about every AA prop i've checked has been out of balance. it doesnt hurt anything really, but it can rob some power, and make it louder too. balancing it will make the plane perform that much better. what kind of balancer did you make?
